~*~ A little about our clubs! ~*~

This website features four Rochester, New York area cat clubs where you can find out the latest news on upcoming shows & other helpful information. These clubs are all affiliated and registered with The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) & are each located in CFA's Great Lakes Region (GLR), which is known as Region 4. The CFA, founded in 1906, is a non-profit organization & is the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats. CFA sponsors several shows each weekend worldwide & its main objectives are the promotion & protection of all cats. Over the years, CFA & its individual clubs have made immense contributions in feline health & health research, disaster relief efforts, and animal welfare. We welcome you to learn more about our clubs & the world of cats in CFA!

Our 4 clubs are:

Hallmark Cat Club - producing shows since 1960's
Genesee Cat Fanciers - producing shows since 1953
Monroe Shorthair Club - producing shows since 19??
National Siamese Cat Club - producing shows since 1956

These clubs have been happy to put on shows each year in the Rochester, NY area where spectators can watch & learn about many breeds of cats. Cat shows are family friendly, and we encourage you to bring the whole family for a visit! You can usually find vendors at our shows selling cat toys, treats/food, grooming products, and good stuff for us human folk too, like clothing & jewelry accessories! We also have a fantastic raffle table where you can purchase tickets to try & win some great prizes!!

Many of our club members have been active in Nursing Home visits with their cats & local rescue efforts. Our clubs are very active in CFA's endeavors; having CFA Ambassadors at our shows, New Bee program, involved with the new Cat Talk magazine, CFA Regional shows/banquets, CFA Annuals, among many other activities.

When available we post breed summaries after the show closes and also show results.
